Political Pirate and FOSS developer. Here mostly to support anonymity, not necessarily to find work. I'm a Gentoo user for ~20 years, daily usage. I maintain my own distribution fork in which I didn't have to change my configs for 10 years, so I prefer to keep everything automated. I love C and GCC, and would absolutely prefer to have one singler compiler for the whole OS I'm using. I'm not advocating against other languages, I find the combination of Bash (only for CI/CD scripting) + C (for system programs) + Python (only for automation) as the perfect and battle tested solution.
